Pleasing God Is Simply Not As Hard As You Think
Hey there, Recovering Church Lady! I don't think your blog is bland! There....I said it! :)BTW, I just scrolled down, trying to catch up a bit on your recent posts, and I LOVED the one about Layla's Bad Ears Day! What an adorable sweetheart! Thanks for the smiles!
Haha! Thanks Becky....I just visited your blog again too and must remember to go back more often. Thanks for coming by.Susie
Susie: This is a good article. Do not call your blog bland again. There are some people who need to be reminded of these security precautions.
Thanks so much Celeste, I appreciate that. I don't really feel RCL is bland, but it certainly could be more funny and shocking if I told all that I know!! Ha!
Great article. Most of it was stuff I've been doing instinctively, but I can always use the reminder. So many stories are not ours to tell, even when we're there to see them happen, and think we know what God's doing in them. I've made it a habit to ask my kids permission, and they're very sweet to allow me to be the story teller they know I am. But only when the story I'm telling is about me--or rather, MY part in their story, if that makes sense. Not about THEIR part. Like you say, not about their love lives (especially!!!). And I'm the Queen of Initials. Anyway, it's served us all well--and made a blog that is both public enough for anyone, and private enough for those who know to know what I'm really saying. And that was my goal all along.
You do a great job! I wish I could just tell the stories without worrying about them though. Ha!
That, BTW was a great post. Hey everyone, I'm friends with the awesome post writer! HUGS!
Haha! Love you girl!
